Ok I'll Pivot is the ending credit song I wrote and produced for Walla Walla, a short film by Hayley Durelle that premiered as part of Portland Playhouse's Return to Wonderland film series in September 2022.

After filming, Hayley had sent me some drafts of the movie poster which just ignited something in me (when it strikes, it’s hot!) and the song was birthed after a very easy 3 hour labor. Whew! I was very sweaty afterwards.

Ok I’ll Pivot is not a complicated song. It’s familiar, fun, and one to which we can all turn on and dance. It has the same BPM as Pump Up the Jam, because that’s the song Afomia, my co-star and best friend IRL, and I danced to while filming and I could not sabotage our rhythm like that. A criminal offense!
